Each base deck plays 2–4 (up to 6 for a much quicker game). Combine decks and there’s no upper limit... play with as many people as you have cards for!

Somewhere between the yoga-pose grooming and the carpet cleaning, every cat produces something truly… magnificent. Collect your hairs, choke them down, and hope you can avoid the Cone of Shame, the groomer, and bath time. The Hairball! card is coming up fast… make it count.

Turns are fast and the cards cycle even faster, so a whole game fits in under five minutes. Counter cards can swing a lead into a loss in an instant, and with multiple opponents every choice of who to sabotage matters. It’s not heavy strategy, but it’s far from a pure game of luck. And the Hairball! card is always out there, lurking... every single draw brings the Hairball! card closer and has the potential to end the game. Every deck can handle 2 to 4 players or as many as 6 players for a quicker game. We suggest getting more decks if you want a longer play time or more players.

I visited my oldest brother back in April, while he was in bad shape in a hospital bed, and when he learned that I had created this game, he told me that he wanted to see it successful and on store shelves so that he could brag about it to everyone he knew... I didn’t make it before he passed away this last month (September 2026), but I won’t give up on it and am pushing to spread this game as far as I can in his name.
