Our Story
Morrighan’s Marvels is a small, independent game studio run by River Melody Morrighan Graham (and family), originating from the Pacific NW. River Melody is the primary designer and artist — but the marvels don’t all start with her. Some of the best ideas around here come from the littlest hands at the table. In fact, while Hairball! is our debut, our next game was dreamed up entirely by our son, who invented it last year at just nine years old. River helped balance it, but every concept was his own — and we couldn’t be prouder.
We make tabletop games the slow, loving way: dreamed up, prototyped on the kitchen table, played with friends, torn apart, and rebuilt until they sing. Hairball! is a fast and silly card game about cats doing what cats do best — the first of many marvels to come.
